Krister´s summary for season 2005
"
It started out very good at Santa Pod in may,
second run 5.53. But we broke the rear axle.
So, get it back to the garage and repair it
for Finland.
In Finland we broke some rods. Tried to fool
Schöfer at the startline, with no success.
The engine wasn't going to make the whole
run with those repaired conrods.
We also had some problems with our new RacePak
computer in England and here at Alastaro.
So we didn't have any good readings to use.
Mantorp was a rainy weekend, not much racing
there. However, we seemed to tune the engine
with the right amount of fuel and temperature.
At eliminations, Sunday, we ran 5.62 against
Mats Björklund. Then they called the
race off because of the rain, and they didn't
have permission to race after 1800.
At Gardemoen the car ran 5.58 straight out
of the trailer. Added some clutch after Mantorp.
And there was rain all weekend again.
Santa Pod again, 5.49 , 5.45 , 5.55. Great
runs, great consistency. Very exciting run
against Rob Turner in the semi-finals, lost
though. But we now hold the European speed
record of 422 km/h. Very pleased with the
season despite the rain.
